Antenna Prototype & Sample Service

Fast antenna prototyping and sample production for design verification, testing and product development.

Before an antenna enters mass production, a physical sample is often needed. A drawing or specification sheet can confirm the basic design, but an actual sample makes it possible to check the antenna size, connector, cable length and installation method on the customer’s equipment.

KEESUN provides antenna prototype and sample services for new wireless products and customized antenna projects. The sample stage starts with the confirmation of the required specifications, including frequency range, antenna type, dimensions, gain, connector and cable configuration.

For some projects, the main requirement is mechanical compatibility. The customer may need an antenna to fit inside a specific enclosure or match an existing mounting hole. In this situation, the prototype allows the physical dimensions and installation position to be checked before moving forward.

For other projects, RF performance is the main concern. The sample can then be used for testing and verification with the customer’s wireless module or equipment.

Common sample requirements include:

  • Different antenna dimensions
  • Different operating frequency bands
  • Different RF connectors
  • Customized coaxial cable lengths
  • Straight or right-angle connectors
  • Indoor or outdoor antenna structures
  • Different mounting methods

Sample production also gives both sides an opportunity to confirm details that may not be obvious at the beginning of a project. Cable routing, connector orientation and the relationship between the antenna and device housing can all be checked before production.

After sample evaluation, adjustments can be made when necessary. The final specifications can then be confirmed for the next production stage.

This process is useful for equipment manufacturers, wireless product developers and customers who need a reliable antenna supplier for a new product. Instead of moving directly from an initial specification to a large production order, prototype samples provide a practical step for checking the product first.
